Visas

Visas are issued through Jamaica’s network of consular posts located at our diplomatic and consular missions. Where a person holds a passport of a country whose nationals require a visa to enter Jamaica, the person must apply for a visa at the Jamaican consular post in the country where he lives or the nearest consular post ( click here for overseas Missions ). Nationals of certain countries are able to obtain their visas at the port of entry. It should be noted that having a visa does not grant anyone the right to enter Jamaica. The immigration officer at the port of entry has the final authority in this matter.
